We were happy to welcome Rob Knudsen from the 77th California State Assembly who presented the awards. He also presented the peace runners with a Proclamation. Thank you!

Nancy & Mike Palmer for their work in promoting a dual language program throughout the school district...
Leona Garety - dedicated custodian and constant friend to all, and
student Nicolette Streater, 4th grader, student council member and tireless advocate for a successful anti bullying campaign.

Our final farewell to Adams Elementary included the rock wall around the school entrance with inspiring messages from cultures around the world including the above poem by Peace Run founder Sri Chinmoy.
