In Colombes, Paris, Olympic Fever is everywhere. It is the 9th day of the Olympic Games and the Peace Run has been invited to the Fan Park in Colombes where Athletes will be honoured for their dedication to Peace.

Ashcharjya is asked to say a few words about the Peace Run.

Diane de Navacelle de Coubertin, grand niece of the founder of the modern Olympic Games, welcomes everyone.

Diane leads the Peace Run through the park.

Edward Maalouf receives the torch. he is one of the athletes being awarded today. At the Paralympics in Beijing, Edward Maalouf won two bronze medals in Hand Cycle. He was the only representative from Lebanon.

Edward Maalouf passes the torch to Fabrice Benichou. Fabrice was a boxer. He become World Champion of boxing in 1989. He is three times super bantamweight World Champion, and two times European bantamweight and featherweight champion.

Marie-Christine Cazier was a French sprinter, who set three French records at that distance.

Marie-Christine Cazier passes the Peace Torch to Jean Luc Pradier.

Charles Coste receives the torch. Charles competed in the 1948 Olympic games in London as a cyclist. he is 100 years old and participated in the Opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games.

Eric Fola (right) is an International Percussion Teambuilder, providing music and rhythym to the occasion with his team.

Arnaud Assoumani receives an honour. Arnaud Assoumani is a French athlete from Comorian origins, born without a lower left arm. He represented France in the long jump, F46 category, at the 2008 Paralympics Summer Games where he received a gold with a new world record of 7.23 meters.

Maharani (right) is from the Royal Family in Solo, Indonesia. Her family have organised Peace Runs in Indonesia.

Arnaud Assoumani, Diane de Coubertin, Devashishu Torpy and Belgian athletes hold the torch together.
