Today we had low mileage and few commitments, so we were taking it easy. Manoshri was pretty happy about that!
We pulled up to wait for Manoshri and drop off Bashata right beside a local fruit stand. We were delighted to meet Savannah, who works there and is planning to become a yoga teacher.
Cows are always interested in the Peace Run.

Running in to San Luis Obispo we met some kids with a super cute dog!
Jennifers mother Teresa,(pictured back left), very kindly took all the girls out for a delicious lunch at a local cafe. She and Jennifers sister, Amber, have been travelling with the team for the last couple of days which was a lot of fun!

It seems the mens team also saw some cows along the way.
Natabara had some serious spring in his step today!
The scenery was very beautiful...
Hamagni and Mahasatya had time for an exciting side trip to check out some vintage cars.
While the boys were looking at cars, Gautami and Suhasini climbed a mountain!
In the evening we had the opportunity to go to the monthly San Lois Obispo City Council Meeting.
Most of us had never attended a meeting of this nature, so it was quite an interesting experience.
We spoke about The Peace Run and gave our Certificate of Appreciation to the Mayor of San Luis Obispo, the Honourable Jan Howell Marx.
While we were at the Council, our wonderful hosts, Jibitesh and Paripurnata, were preparing the bi-annual ultimate vegetarian barbeque!
Homemade icecream with fresh berries, chocolate and caramel toppings..what a perfect ending to a beautiful day in and around San Lois Obispo!
