The womens team started the day at Days Inn in Dyersburg where we were kindly hosted. The start of the day was sunny.
The mens team was also kindly supplied accomodation at Holiday Inn in Dyersburg, thanks.
Then it was off to the coffee shop for a kick start to the running day

We made it to Kentucky!! Home of the Derby and marking the entry to the more northern landscape. The storm clouds were rolling in but we were happy to be outdoors and running.

The womens team had some close encounters today with the incoming electrical storm but managed to duck in and out of the support vehicle if the lightning felt too close.

We had more than the usual share of offers of a lift today but we were enjoying our time alone with just the flame and the rain.
