Reported by Abhinandan Willis, Anubha Baird, Padmanandana Marek 146.0 km

Our morning check of Peace Run media mentions –
* Michelle Smith from The Land reported on the Team's visit to Canadian Lead School outside of Ballarat;
* Lorne College's newsletter featured our recent visit;
* Shepparton High School featured this beautiful presentation;
* Port Fairy Consolidated School reported on the Peace Run's time there a few days ago ...;
* ... as did Orchard Grove Primary School;
* Triple M The Border 105.7 featured the Peace Run as well.

First up this morning was our boys team who had some serious km to run, so an early start was essential.

Sarankhuu from Mongolia would run 36 km today.

Meanwhile our girls team started our day ...

... with a beautiful visit to Kingston Community School.

The Peace Run had visited previously and Kingston has developed a reputation as a caring and peace-loving school. The students from reception to year 12 form a marvellous family-like community with principal Lucretia Tocaciu and kind staff. The welcome read by Emily, the junior SRC President was eloquent and heartfelt. She spoke about the Peace Run and its founder, Sri Chinmoy’s ideas of oneness and personal responsibility for spreading peace. She related the ideals of the Peace Run to how children at Kingston should act in a kindly and positive manner.

Mayor Reg Lyon attended and appreciated the Peace Run with his kinds words. He carries a sense of calm and a deep commitment to his community and the Kingston Community School. Also pictured is Emily Pilmore, who read the beautiful introduction.

Some of the children had learned the Peace Run song and did a wonderful job performing it with us.

A big Thank You to Thomas, Gracie, Taylor and Harrison for receiving the certificate and the World Harmony artwork for the school.

We were given a large collection of beautiful student artworks for the Peace Art exhibition in Rome later this year.

The School Principal, Lucretia Tocaciu, with the Peace Tree plaque.

After the school visit we drove to catch up with the rest of the boys team. By the time we caught them ...

... they had already run 55 km. Pretty impressive.

After they big morning of running, the boys team now had their school visit, to a 100 year-old school. Tailem Bend Primary School was awesome!

We never get tired of meeting kids.

Kayley and Sakinah received the certificate of appreciation on behalf the school.

Running around the oval is always delightful.

Our gratitude to the School Principal, Travis Schenke.

It was nor our girls team's turn to run the final 56 km into Meningie, our resting place for this evening.

It was a lot sunnier and warmer today. Bliss!

Running with the Coorong National Park, a lagoon ecosystem which is a sanctuary for birds, animals and fish, just to our left most of the way, made the running fly by.

Along the way we met Ellen.

We finished with enough time to check in to our hotel and walk to the coast ...

... to watch the beautiful sunset on Lake Alexandrina – the culmination of the Murray River.

A big, big Thank You to Trevor and Alfie at River's Edge Caravan Park in Tailem Bend for accommodating the boys team in a palatial villa on the banks of the mighty Murray River.

Tonight our girls team is staying at Meningie Hotel thanks to the kindness of Ben and Nicole. It is such a treat.

We were even treated to a delicious meal in the dining room.

The evening got even better when Saranyu’s friend Cathy, an organic dairy farmer from the region, came to meet us and shouted us to a scrumptious dessert.

The chocolate pudding and ice cream was voted the best.
