Torshavn

Reported by Laufey Haraldsdottir, Salil Wilson 17.0 km

Today the absolute highlight of the day was meeting the leaders of Faroe Islands. The President of the Parliament received the torch from students of Skúlin við Løgmannabreyt and ran around the grounds of the Parliament building. Please note this report is a little out of order but we felt we wanted to recognize and honor the significance of some events which happened in the afternoon.

It joins over 1000 Peace-Blossoms around the world including over 150 Peace Blossom-Nations, which help to remind millions of people every day in so many countries that our common goal is peace."

We also presented a Torch-Bearer award to Bjørt Samuelsen for her dedicated service to the Peace Run
