Today in the Wallenstein garden of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech republic a unique event called A Moment's Peace took place. The aim of this ceremony was an expression of our common desire for world Peace.
Dnes se ve Valdštejnské zahradě Senátu Parlamentu České republiky konala jedinečná akce nazvaná A Moment's Peace. Cílem tohoto setkání bylo sdílení společného přání pro mír ve světě.

V další části programu měli možnost zástupci přítomných velvyslanectví možnost si předat Mírovou pochodeň z ruky do ruky.

The next part were Torch Bearer Awards presented to three esteemed guests. The first one was Radek Jaros, a mountaineer who climbed all fourteen 8K mountains in the world without the use of oxygen mask. With his other activities he inspired people in Czechia to overcome their own obstacles and summits. The award is presented by Senator Leopold Sulovsky, who is the first Czech person ever to climb Mt. Everest.
Následovalo předání ocenění Torch Bearer Award třem českým známým osobnostem. První z nich byl horolezec Radek Jaroš, který jako první Čech zdolal všech čtrnáct osmitisícovek bez použití kyslíkové masky. Svými dalšími aktivitami inspiruje lidi v Česku ke zdolávání svých vlastních hor a překážek. Cenu mu předal senátor Leopold Sulovský, který je zároveň prvním Čechem, který zdolal Mt. Everest.
The second awarded was Marek Eben, a musician and famous Czech TV host known for his humour and positive attitude in life with which he inspired people to strive for higher ideals in life. The award was presented by Alena Gajduskova, long term friend of the Peace Run.
Druhým oceněným byl Marek Eben, hudebník a moderátor známý především z pořadu Na plovárně. Svým humorem a pozitivním přístupem k životu inspiruje lidi k hledání hlubších hodnot v životě. Cenu mu předala poslankyně Alena Gajdůšková, dlouholetá přítelkyně Mírového běhu.
The last awarded was Tomas Klus, a musician and singer (previously also pentathlete) who is known as the "voice of current generation". Tomas inspires especially the young generation to continuously strive for becoming a better human being. The award is presented by the Senate Vice Chancellor Ivo Barek.
Posledním oceněným byl Tomáš Klus, hudebník a zpěvák (a v minulosti též úspěšný pětibojař) známý především jako "hlas nynější generace". Tomáš dává inspiraci mladé generaci lidí k tomu, aby se snažili stát se dobrým člověkem. Ocenění mu předal místopředseda Senátu Ivo Bárek.
