Thank you very much to our kind host Sian at Donegal Manor for providing accommodation for the boys team. Sian was very helpful in putting us in contact with Mayor Kennedy of Donegal.

Three of our team members had a lovely stay at Harvey's Point hotel, many thanks to Deidre and Sheila at the hotel for arranging a nights accommodation.

Our first school of the day in Donegal Town.

Our sincere thanks to the Mill Hotel for hosting the girls team. They had a lovely stay.

Our French peace runners sing a song.

The students look on with intrigue and curiousty.

Friends altogether.

...Maybe If I hide here no one will notice me!!

Time for the Hawaiian Hula :-)

Our second vist of the day is a short distance away to Scoil Aodh Rua agus Nuala.

Amalendu, our experienced Australian team member, tells the children about the Peace Run endeavours all over the world.

Peace is happiness. Happiness brings smiles.

Principal Cullan recieves a certificate of appreciation and shares some very kind words about the Peace Run.

We are then treated to an energetic singing performance in the Irish language followed by the national anthem: Arann na bhfiann.

Admiring the magic of the flame.

The teachers at Scoil Aodh Rua agus Nuala gather for a photo and the school children give them a tremendous cheer!

High fives on the way out.

The team captain giving directions. No lost runners so far in Ireland!

We meet Donald on the road. He was really touched by the spirit of the Run and he kindly offered the team some Hi-Vis jackets and hats to for the team. Thank you Donald.

Six kilometres down the road we visit St.Eunans National school.

The students are sitting patiently ready to hear about the Peace Run.

I know the answer!

Sharing Peace with the whole world!

And the runners are off on a 100 metre dash!

But what is this?! Foul play!!!

The children can't believe it!

It has stopped raining so we head outside to pass the Peace torch.

Holding the Torch and Irish flag high.

Running brings smiles!

Principal McDaid gladly holds the torch and accepts a certificate of appreciation from the Peace Run.

Yes and then we are blessed with more Irish rain.

But Banshidar loves it!

Irish countryside.

Anubha climbs a hill with torch in hand.

Meeting some very enthusiastic well wishers along the way!

Mick Brown carrying the torch.

Mick even shares a song about Peace and Harmony.

A rainbow is always a sign of good luck.

Our last stretch of running for the day brings us to Cavan town where the Town Chairperson Madeleine Argue and representatives from Cavan sports partnership and Peace project warmly welcome us.

Madeleine is delighted to welcome the Peace Run on it's first ever visit to the town of Cavan. We are delighted to be here and the hospitality is truley felt.

The Peace project in the area is doing amazing work to promote friendship and understanding.
