Thank you very much to our kind host Sian at Donegal Manor for providing accommodation for the boys team. Sian was very helpful in putting us in contact with Mayor Kennedy of Donegal.
Three of our team members had a lovely stay at Harvey's Point hotel, many thanks to Deidre and Sheila at the hotel for arranging a nights accommodation.

Our second vist of the day is a short distance away to Scoil Aodh Rua agus Nuala.
Amalendu, our experienced Australian team member, tells the children about the Peace Run endeavours all over the world.

Principal Cullan recieves a certificate of appreciation and shares some very kind words about the Peace Run.
We are then treated to an energetic singing performance in the Irish language followed by the national anthem: Arann na bhfiann.

We meet Donald on the road. He was really touched by the spirit of the Run and he kindly offered the team some Hi-Vis jackets and hats to for the team. Thank you Donald.
Six kilometres down the road we visit St.Eunans National school.

It has stopped raining so we head outside to pass the Peace torch.

Our last stretch of running for the day brings us to Cavan town where the Town Chairperson Madeleine Argue and representatives from Cavan sports partnership and Peace project warmly welcome us.
Madeleine is delighted to welcome the Peace Run on it's first ever visit to the town of Cavan. We are delighted to be here and the hospitality is truley felt.
The Peace project in the area is doing amazing work to promote friendship and understanding.
