The Peace Run begins today at the gates of Hampton Court Palace.

This Royal Palace was built in the 16th Century and was the favourite home of King Henry VIII

Julianna carries the torch for Peace! Several runners join in for the run of Peace along the Thames.

Sandra from Austria carries the torch. There is a half marathon and a marathon race taking place along the Thames today.

Neil the indomitable has come back from a serious foot injury to carry the Union Jack and run for Peace.

This is the starting place for famous annual Oxford versus Cambridge boat race.

The Peace Runners help out.

In Battersea Park the runners stop to observe a Moment of Peace at the Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile plaque. The Battersea Park Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile is the first of many worldwide measured 1 mile courses dedicated to Peace. It was inaugurated by Sri Chinmoy himself on March 15th 1986.

Running through the streets of Central London.

Our final destination is Run and Become sports shop in Victoria.

Shankara, the owner and manager of Run and Become , holds the torch. Run and Become have been actively encouraging running, health and Peace for over 35 years.

In Leon in Victoria we are treated to free drinks. Thank you LEON.
