Port Moresby

Reported by Nirbhasa Magee 3.0 km

We head out of our accommodation on our last day in Port Moresby...

We had only one appearance this morning before we had to catch our onward flight to Australia, at the Remueh United Church. Our thanks to Poro Renagi for making it all happen!

The worship team holds the Torch and passes it on...

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." - Colossians 3:15

Our gratitude to the pastor for letting us come and be a part of the service!

The music group are singing songs as the congregation come in...

By the time we are invited up to talk, the church is full with over 300 worshippers.

The pastor powerfully prays over the Peace Torch.

Running around the National Stadium...

We try our hand at the steeplechase...

We then head to the nearby Vision City mall for some refreshment...

...and to share the message of Peace with people and families enjoying their Sunday morning.

...our visit to Papua New Guinea was very short, but very satisfying! Everywhere we went, we met the most wonderful people, with beautiful hearts and smiles, and we are very keen to come back and work with our new-found friends to share the Peace Torch with as many people as we can.
