Hamilton Botanical Gardens - Melville Primary School

Reported by Daniel Rubin 7.0 km

Melville Primary School welcomes us at their gate - what a warm welcome it was!

Jessie reads out the "Certificate of Appreciation" presented to Melville Primary .

Enraptured by the energy of the torch.

The archway at the Hamilton Botanical Gardens.

Staff at the gardens spotted us running past, and stopped us - enthusiastically appreciating the Peace Run.

We ran to the plaque designating the Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile, that links similar measured routes in cities in New York, Canberra and Auckland to name a few.

A replica spitfire opposite the plaque.

Our gratitude to Linda and Aaron from Aaron Court who provided the women's team in Hamilton with beautiful accommodation on Monday night.
