Cassino - Rome

Reported by Dipavajan Renner 127.0 km

School-time in Cassino!

...our first school was ready: the kids lined up for high five...

Peace can be felt in the heart...

...we passed the torch...

Thank you for the fun!

...this time we met the older kids, same school...

Thank you for the friendship!

...and meeting number three: a great welcome...

...the principal received the torch...

...a nice performance...

Thank you Cassino for the heartfelt meetings!

...we launched our final run to Rome...

...beautiful villages along the route...

...we got a glimpse of Rome before sunset...

...the last steps on one of the most famous roads in the world: the Via Appia Antica.
This road was the nerve of the Roman Empire - you can still feel the old stones are loaded with history.
