Reported by Gordana Petrovčić 59.0 km

Our morning begins...

Nase jutro pocinje...

Today was our last running day in Croatia.

...kindergarten kids welcomed us...

...djeca iz vrtica su nas docekala....

...we sang with the kids...

....pjevali smo sa djecom...

Three of the "fastest" runners in the world performed a competition.

3 "najbrza" trkaca na svijetu su odglumila natjecanje...

Kids were judging our actions...

Djeca su ocjenjivala nase postupke...

Thumbs up for the peaceful action...

Palac gore za mirnu akciju...

...and thumb down for the non peaceful behavior...

...i palac dolje za lose ponasanje...

Peace is oneness...

Mir je jedinstvo....

Peace is joy...

Mir je radost...

...if we can find peace in our own heart...

...ako mozemo pronaci mir u nasem srcu...

...it will spread further to our friends, family and to all our community...

Making a wish...

Zazeliti zelju...

..the kids took us on a loop around the schoolyard...

We gave to the representative of Borovo our certificate of appreciation and a painting by Sri Chinmoy.

Predstavniku Borova smo dali zahvalnicu i sliku koju je naslikao Sri Chinmoy.

...never grow old...:)

...nikada ne odrasti...:)

It was time to say goodbye to our new friends! Thank you so much for the wonderful time!

Our journey continues to Vukovar towards our next meeting.

The vice mayor of Vukovar welcomed us with kind words...

To hold the Torch means...

Drzati baklju znaci...

... to share the peaceful hopes and wishes of a global world-family.

Strike the gong!

Udari gong!

Even though temperatures were high...

Iako

... we were flying.

...new friends on the road...

...novi prijatelji na cesti...

...greetings!

We continued towards our next meeting at Franciscan monastery.

Nastavili smo prema nasem sljedecem sastanku, franjevackom samostanu.

Fra Ivica Jagodić

Thank you for hosting our team!

Hvala sto ste ugostili nas tim!

We left Vukovar behind and started our journey towards the border with Serbia...

...here we go...

...we followed the Danube and discovered countless picturesque places...

...pratili smo Dunav i otkrili mnoga slikovita mjesta...

...a joyful unexpected meeting at our accommodation.....

...radosni neocekivani sastanak kod naseg smjestaja...

Kids surprised us with street drawings...

Your smiles are the most precious...

Vasi osmjesi su najdragocjeniji...

Thank you so much for the most sweet meeting.

Hvala puno za najsladji sastanak.

...it was time to say farewell to Croatia! Our sincere gratitude for your efforts, friendship and hospitality! We will carry your peace wishes on and on...

...doslo je vrijeme da kazemo hrvatskoj dovidjenja! Primite nasu iskrenu zahvalnost za vas trud, prijateljstvo i gostoprimstvo. Nosit cemo vase zelje za mirom sve dalje i dalje...

The board says: where Danube kisses the sky...

Tabla kaze: gdje Dunav ljubi nebo...

I swim and swim In the river of peace Every day. ~ Sri Chinmoy
