We would like to express our gratitude to the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Oklahoma City for providing us with a discount in their fabulous hotel. They were very happy to be able to serve the team and to hold the peace torch enthusiastically wishing us well and making a soulful wish for world peace.

Also we would like to thank the Four Points by Sheraton in Oklahoma City for providing free breakfast for our 2 teammates. Thank you.

We had some driving to do today and not much running so we visited some places along the way. Our first stop was the Oklahoma Memorial, where in April 19, 1995, The Alfred P. Murray Federal Bldg. was attacked by a truck bombing because an anti-government extremist killing 168 people, injuring 680. The bomb destroyed more than one third of the building and damaged 324 more buildings.

The Field of Empty Chairs is a tribute to the 168 Americans who where killed that day.

These beautiful children drawings for world peace made on tile, decorate the entrance of the museum.

Our new teammate Roxana joined us today. Welcome to the team!

Trying to cool off under a tree.

Some friends joining us holding the peace torch and making a wish for world peace.

Driving on Route 66, stopping at the National Route 66 Museum was a must!

The Old Town Museum is made of several buildings, some with the appearance and other full buildings that have been moved to the site.

Our last stopped of the day was the magnificent Palo Duro Canyon State Park located in the Texas Panhandle near the city of Amarillo and Canyon.  It's the second largest canyon in the United States. It is known as the Grand Canyon of Texas for its size and dramatic geological features, including the multicolored layers of rock and steep mesa walls, which are similar to the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

The team ran a few miles to meet with Steven Douglas from the press who interviewed Harita. Thank you for meeting us!

Steven happy to hold the peace torch.

We would like to thank Pizzeria 575 for a delicious complementary meal tonight. We are most grateful for their kindness and generosity.

We would like to thank Ugana from Mongolia for joining our North American Team. We truly hope she can join us  back in 2026! She will be missed by all of us. Safe travels.
