Staying at the Country Inn and Suites last night gave us a well needed rest in a very nice accommodation.
The women's team were kindly hosted last night by the lovely Nuevo Inn and Suites in Newark, Delaware.
Zuzka starts out on a chilly early morning run into Maryland.
Anna also enjoys her morning run.
Over 600 children and teachers greeted us at the Rising Sun Elementary School this morning
Harita and Abhejali racing in a funny skit
Harita knocks Abhejali off the track and the kids judge whether this is a demonstration of harmony or not
The children feel peace in their hearts
Singing and acting our World Harmony song
Everyone seems to enjoy the actions
Lorraine Bell, Mrs. Isaac and Mrs. Fitzpatrick were all instrumental in arranging for us to come and participate with the children
Many of the children were able to hold the torch afterwards and think of something peaceful to add to the torch
Back on the road
A little construction can slow you down but also offers a chance to share the torch again
A proud lunch-meister
Getting on the road after a long morning
Dennis poses in front of the LOVE mural in Baltimore
These enthusiastic children from the AFYA Public Charter School along our route going into Baltimore were happy they bumped into us and were proud to hold the torch.
A big thank you to America's Best Value Inn for accomodating our womens team and taking great care of us all!
