The team running through the Valley of Gods. Definitely one of the most beautiful and powerful places in the world.

Meanwhile the rest of the team went to an early morning ceremony at Monument Valley High School. Some of us are pictured here with local resident Benny Whitehorse, who came with his super adorable children and extended family.

Pictured here from the RIGHT: Cleal Bradford, who is a long time friend of the Peace Run and founder of the San Juan Foundation which initiates a wide range of programmes to support the local Navajo people. We are most grateful to Cleal for organising this event! Also pictured are Gene and Blanch Wilson, who provide orthodontic treatments to local people, Cleal's daughter Lisa Carr, also from the San Juan Foundation, who travelled 90 miles from Blanding with Cleal, and her German exchange student Greta Pfiz. We were greatly moved by the goodness and dedication of all present at our Monumemt Valley ceremony, thank you so much!

We chanced upon a colourful charactered bunch of Austrian motorcyclists who had passed us earlier on their travels.

Believe it or not Harita was pretty excited to find out that this man is actually a New Zealand tourist!
