We had a very luxurious stay at The Essex - Vermont's Culinary Resort and Spa. A fantastic hotel just minutes from Burlington. Thank you very, very much.

Here we are at the Neshobe Elementary School presenting to the young audience.

Making wishes for peace. We appreciate the happiness and enthusiasm of the children that we experienced here.
Our new friends receive our gratitude gifts of artwork by Sri Chinmoy and a Certificate of appreciation.

Our first steps with our local supporter Akhanka, thanks for the spring water!
Salil enjoys the soft grass.
Jagadhata offers a soulful moment of silence before his run.
Homagni has recently joined the team and is getting his running in good shape.
This morning we had split into two teams and had an early start to enjoy the beautiful weather. One of our teams made our way with the torch towards our first stop in Shelburne, Vermont.
The Green Mountains offered us spectacular vistas as we ran the hilly course on Rte. 7.
This young athlete, Tyler, stopped his car to greet us and generously offer us a box of his healthy energy bars called 'RacePak'.
We sometimes encounter unfriendly dogs on the road as we run with the torch which may frighten them, but this huge dog did not seem to be bothered by our presence here.
In Shelburne a local biker kindly stopped to inquire about our run and offered his goodwill as he held the torch with us.
As we approached our destination some of the children and teachers at the Renaissance School at Shelburne Farms came out to the entrance of this huge farm and campus to greet us enthusiastically.
They were quite happy to meet us and carry the torch.
They took turns carrying the torch as they led us up the long winding driveway for one mile before reaching their incredible school.
The road was adorned with flowers and green pastures.
The new peace runners were so happy to have an opportunity to run with the torch.
Even the teachers were thrilled to be part of the Peace Run at their wonderful school.
Other children and teachers were waiting for us along the driveway as we approached this beautiful castle-like structure on this sprawling campus.
Beautiful smiles and peace signs adorned the driveway as we approached the school.
By the time we reached the lawn to have our ceremony we had a very large group of children and teachers participating in the Peace Run.
The children were eager to participate in our program as they tried to feel peace in their hearts.
They were quite attentive as they sat before us on the lawn on this beautiful day in front of their majestic stone building.
One of the young students reads out here lovely essay on Peace. In the first line she says,"To me peace is the heart of the world, it brings life, laughter and love."
Lisa Zengilowski, Principal of the Renaissance Elementary School, holds Torch as we present our Certificate of Appreciation to the school.
Lisa also receives a colorful 'Compassion' painting by Sri Chinmoy, Founder of the Peace Run.
Lisa then leads the teachers and students around the front lawn of their uniquely charming school with the Peace Torch.
Afterwards the children each get a chance to hold the torch high as they share in the excitement of peace.
A wonderful group of young peace lovers show off their art work in this group photo with teachers and our own Peace Run members.
Rainbows and peace symbols adorn the colorful artwork and signs offered by the school.
We inherited a new vehicle today for our team in case our minivan breaks down.
Actually our Peace Run van was just fine as we visited the Cheese Shop on this sprawling campus which is also a working farm alongside the Renaissance Elementary School.
We ended our run for the day in this very picturesque town of Middlebury.
Valeriy seems to transform into a tiny child as he comtemplates the beautiful scenery around him.
We stopped by one restaurant which was not open yet but let us see their colorful sign for Peace. So far our two days in Vermont have shown us Peace seekers everywhere as we try to share with others the importance of spreading Peace around the world.
