As we continue to head south, the Peace Run team runs all of its miles in the morning. We appreciated the cool, tranquil beauty of the adjacent swamp lands and forests. Most of us have never been in this part of the US before. Some of us even saw armadillos for the first time in our lives - a very unusual looking creature. Unfortunately we have no photos from the sightings.

While a ten thousand mile running journey may appear overwhelming, the team just takes it one day at a time, one step at a time.

We were enchanted by the variety of beautiful and often fragrant flowers growing along the sides of the road. Here was one example.

We take video footage of the Run when opportunities arise. Sarankhuu from Mongolia is currently our chief camerman and is seen here in action doing some much needed stretching.
