A big thank you to Best Western Pony Soldier Inn and Suites Flagstaff for accommodating some of our team at their beautiful premesis last night, we had a great rest there!
Today our main task was to drive 480 miles from Flagstaff to San Diego, and then on to Mexico tomorrow. On the way we stopped briefly in the stunning city of Sedona, and some of the boys ran a few miles to meet us there.
ChocolaTree Organic Vegetarian Restaurant very generously and kindly sponsored breakfast for the team, it is a beautiful place, right from where you park the car!
After a hard run Atul was thrilled to chance upon a super deluxe hammock in the garden!
We were thrilled to catch up with Mia Margaret, an old time dear friend of The Peace Run. Mia has supported the run for nearly 30 years, and knows many of our long time team members, past and present. Her sincere and heart-felt kindness and goodness touches everyone she meets.
Mia is a professional harpist, and we were touched and delighted as she serenaded us with her angelic notes as we ate our incredible gourmet breakfast.
After breakfast, Mia kindly led us in some energising and healing exercises.
Thank you so much to ChocolaTree organic vegetarian restaurant for a wonderful breakfast in perfect surroundings, and to Mia for spending time with us and sharing her magnanimous heart, goodness and music with us all. We hope we can all meet again soon!
Time to hit the road, you will next find us in Mexico!
When we are happy,
We scatter peace-petals
Everywhere.
