Pembina, ND - Grand Forks, ND

Our first steps in North Dakota were rather windy this morning.

And that explains the serious look of our runners today.

But if you were to choose between headwind and mosquitoes, you'd prefer the wind.

In 1987, for the very first Peace Run, Arpan was one of the enthusiastic runners! Almost 30 years later he has not lost anything of his eagerness and his running advice is always precious.

Salil, although he is the Executive Director of the Peace Run, never neglects his running duties.

Yuyudhan from Minneapolis (on the right) joined the team yesterday. Welcome brother peace runner!

After a long run against the wind we metwith the YMCA Discovery Summer Camp at Riverside Park in Grand Forks.

To say that we got an enthusiastic welcome is quite an understatement.

The World Harmony Run song promises to be the summer hit in North Dakota.

Each one observes a moment of silence in their own way.

Salil made the news!

One of Sri Chinmoy's artwork on peace was offered to the Summer Camp.

Running with the torch is always a highlight.

This little girl said she had saved that T-shirt for the occasion!

There are no tall nor short people, the right size is when your feet touch the ground.

To refill our energy tank we were invited by Perkins Family Restaurant in Grand Forks.

The staff was very friendly and efficient, and the delicious dinner was exactly what we needed.

Many thanks for participating in the Peace Run in this very special way.

We were delighted to meet Mike Lawrence, a kind and considerate locksmith, who very kindly helped us get a couple of replacement keys for one of our vehicles.

Please send us a message, we would LOVE to hear from you.
