On our way to Arkansas we strolled by the Imagine Vegan Cafe in Memphis. They celebrated their 7th year anniversary and kindly offered to make us lunch to go.

On our way to Forrest City we met lot's of people who shared with us their wishes, prayers and hopes for peace.
Forrest City Mayor, Larry S. Bryant was already awaiting us.
Mayor Bryant shared some history of Forrest City, his birthplace.
He presented us with a proclamation naming May 5th as Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run day.
We thanked him with a Certificate of Appreciation and offered him a plaque with one of Sri Chinmoy paintings.
Mayor Bryant was accompanied by his brother Don. Brodie Johnson from the local media was also there.
...and he ran with us!
Mayor Bryant arranged for a police escort for Sveta when leaving Forrest City.
Thanks to the Forrest City Fire Department for helping us service our RV.
And who else held the torch today?
A kind passer-by gave Sveta a bottle of water.

Arpan met Tim Astin, farmer from Forrest City, AR. Tim was very generous and treated us to a wonderful Mexican dinner at Los Pinos restaurant in Brinkley.
