A big thank you to the Junipine Resort in Sedona for hosting the Peace Run Team! We loved the neat appartment surrounded by pine trees.
Radhika, the owner of ChocolaTree generously and self-givingly invited the Peace Run team for breakfast. This all organic, vegetarian peace garden Reataurant is one of its kind. All the items on the menu were made from healthy, wholesome foods. The garden had a meditative atmosphere and it was obvious that so much care and love went into the prepeation and serving of the meals!
We were joined by Swami, who warmly welcomed and joined us for breakfast.
Everyone had aplace at a low, round table made of stone that was resting on top of a tree stump. In this oasis of well being a philosophical and spiritual discourse with our new friend started.
Swami, after extensive travels throughout India and the United States, often only on foot, is now the head of a nearby Ashram that had opened only two months ago.
It was a long drive to San Diego... but with beautiful scenery.
We reached our goal: Jyoti-Bihanga Vegetarian Restaurant in San Diego. All the runners ate their fill! Thank you so much to everyone serving at the Reataurant for your kindness and enthusiastic reception of the Peace Runners!
Grahak is celebrating his birthday tonight! What is inside his present...?
A Davy Crockett hat! Happy Birthday!
Really grateful to the Best Western Pony Soldier Inn, Flagstaff for hosting our team.
We had a wonderful stay at Elden Trails Bead and Breakfast in Flagstaff. Marnie and Steve are great hosts and they are also involved in many avenues of community service.
