We would like to thank Black Oak in Paso Robles for their warm welcome to the Peace Run and great accommodation for the team. We are most grateful.
We started our run during a very windy day. Here is Nikolaus the brave beginning to run. It was very hard to run against the wind. Great going guys!
Some beautiful flowers along the way which inspired us to run.
After a few miles it was time to take a break and have lunch. We would like to thank Red Scooter Deli for great salads and sandwiches for the team. It gave us energy to keep going.
We did not meet many people on our run today but Frank we met many many times along our way. Frank is from Germany and he is cycling from Los Angeles up to Vancouver and then east, finishing in New York at about the same time as the Peace Run. We hope to see you again on our journey :)
California oranges... they say that California oranges are the best but our Florida team mate disagrees.
