We held a presentation for the Mullaloo Surf Saving Club today which was holding its annual Balawista Badung life saving course from 19 to 26 Oct.

12 of the volunteer lifeguard instructors of the Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club came from Western Australia. They helped to conduct the training program every year.

There were about 100 people amongst the spectators and participants. Many were eager to hold the torch and wished for peace.

Mr Mark Hill, President of Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) Perth Western Australia, was being interviewed and presented the torch. Mr Hill has been a volunteer instructor for the last 21 years.

Before the training starts, I brought the Peace torch to the cliff close to the lifeguard club for video shooting.

The A group is the candidate for Bronze. To be qualified as a lifeguard, you have to get this Bronze certificate. They are divided into 3 groups, A, B, and C, depending on their ability to swim.

With a little help from fellow lifeguard, Kanyaka finally succeeded to stand on the surf board while holding the peace torch.
