Sigrid Batara receives the Torch-Bearer Award. For over 30 years, she had dedicated her life to the Boys and Girls Clubs of King County. Countless lives have been changed for the better because of her life and selfless work. There is no more worthy Torch-Bearer recipient than Sigrid.
Sigrid shares her hearftfelt thanks. We are so grateful to her for the opportunity to know her and to appreciate her selfless life.

The team arrives at the Centennial Plaza in Edmonds, just outside of City Hall for our final event of the day.
We are pleased to share the Torch-Bearer Award to with Donnie Griffin, founder of the Lift Every Voice Legacy.
Donnie encouraged more peace lovers to 'come to the table'.
Mike Rosen also received the Torch-Bearer Award for his dedicated service to Edmonds and the Peace Run.
The team celebrates Edmonds City Council President Vivian Olson on her birthday. Of Donnie, Vivian remarked, "I know of no one else who better personifies peace and justice, gives hope and sets a high path".
