As we admire one of Cuba's many murals on our way out of town, we pass by an enthusiastic couple in their car. Then we realized it was Mayor Copling and his wife Pat sharing their farewells as we make our way out of Cuba. Thank you Mayor Copling and Pat! We are so happy to know you and include you in our Peace Run Team.
Now we begin our distance running of the day.

Next stop, Licking Elementary School. Principal Brian Barry greets us immediately when we arrived.

And our final visit of the day was to meet Mayor Danny Cannon of Cabool, MO. He made us feel right at home and welcomed us warmly before giving some new jobs ...
back in the Town Chambers! Our new positions of the day, as Mayor's council members...
before heading out to have a tour of the park next to City Hall. Mayor Cannon and City Administrator Ron Scheets toured us around and showed us the work of an excellent local chain saw artist. Just across the park is a time capsule, due to come up in a short time, 10 years!
This evening, we are treated to a very special dinner of pizza and french fries by Mayor Cannon.
Thank you Mayor Cannon. You made our evening thoroughly enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you again next time. And thank you to the amazing city of Cabool for making us feel so much at home. Your kindness and generosity we will never forget.
