To welcome us in Kane is a lovely group of young children and their parents, arranged by Mayor Brandy Schimp.

Salil is from Australia, but lives in a country with a statue of a woman holding a torch. Can you guess??

Thank you guys for carrying the Torch with us through Kane. We will now carry your wishes for peace through the States :) And thank you to Mayor Brandy Schimp and the City of Kane for make us feel so welcome.

We were amazed and thrilled when we saw these Zippo lighters with the Peace Run logo on them. Each runner was gifted one of them. What better tool to use for lighting our Peace Torch?

City Administrator Eric Taylor was instrumental in planning and organizing our amazing visit here in Bradford.

Thank you to all the Zippo staff, Mayor Tom Riel, police officers and with a special thank you to City Administrator Eric Taylor. You represent Bradford in sharing your own hopes for peace. And your warmth and generosity made our visit there in Bradford incredibly memorable and special.

Group photo with everybody :) Thank you to Markie and the staff at the Salamanca Youth Center! This artwork by Sri Chinmoy is entitled: Universal Brotherhood.

It was a pleasure meeting Mayor John Burrell and Supervisor Matthew McAndrew who joined us for dinners at the fabulous Gentle Thunder Farm in Ellicottville. It was lovely to learn about their local community. Thank you both for coming to greet the peace runners and for sharing your love of peace and friendship with us. Peace starts with people like you.
