We had a glorious start to the day by watching the sunrise at the South Kaibab trail at the Grand Canyon.  Many of the team had never seen the Canyon before and it blew everyone away. You feel so small standing on the rim.

Joseph was keen to reach the Colorado River and to hike out of the Bright Angel trail. It was always his dream to attempt the hike.

It's such an amazing place to sit and meditate on nature.

We met a lot of interesting people along the way.

After recovering from a hamstring injury, Joseph has returned to running with even more enthusiasm.

Everyone me met along the trail was excited to hold the torch and to hear about all of our adventures that we have had since we left New York.

Finally we reached the the Colorado River!

The team met with our old friend Haryaksha. Whenever we are in Arizona or Utah, he always comes out to support our efforts.

After returning to our campground, we celebrated Victoria's birthday. Victoria is always enthusiastic and a fantastic team member. It was the perfect end to a challenging and beautiful day.
