We started our day with a 2 mile race! This was done at high altitude 1,700m! We all full of energy at the begining of the race...
But by the end the altitude at knocked it out of us.... well except for
Clifford who ran a personal best!
We all made it back to our two Joburg team members house for a meal
Before making our way to the bus station for our overnight bus!
Not knowing when we would be stopping for a meals we packed a dinner, Balarka enjoyed the big serving!
Making it into Zimbabwe in the early hours of the morning we were all happy for a quick stop for some hot cuppas before jumping back on the bus to make our way into Harare.
Arriving into Harare only 3 hours late we all crowded around the luggage compartment to grab all our team bags. Before heading back Abhijatri and Balarka's parents place.
Where Lorna had prepared and delicous and generous lunch for all the runners!
After a wonderful hour or so sitting out on their deck we decided to see a little of Harare as we know tomorrow would be a full day visitng the schools.
The team all piled into the back of Mikes Ute
And we headed off too Domboshawa.
One of the local residents

We arrvied back and Mike and Lorna's place to find yet another feast awating us, talk about being spoilt!
It will be hard to leave their wonderful hospitality!
Three of our team however were hosted by Inam and friend of Lornas and a good friend of the Peace Run. She took us under her wing and we all felt like family within the first few minutes of meeting each other.
